With tickets priced at £5 for adults and free for U16s & concessions this promises to be an exciting night of rugby at The Mem.
Clifton last won in 2008/09 in a 45-21 victory over St Mary's, although the half time score being 7-6 probably didn't indicate how much tempo the second half would have.
The opponents this time are of course, Dings Crusaders, who have had their own tense end to the season only securing their National League 2 status on the last day. Congratulations are due as the league would be poorer without them and local rivalry is the best rivalry.
While the league battle between the two clubs is a draw this season, the points aggregate certainly isn't with it being 60-34 in Dings' favour.
Clifton enjoyed their equal highest National League 2 South finish and a Club record home run of wins but the 43-10 loss away at our nearest competition just last month must still sting.
It promises to be a hard fought and deserving contest for one of the last ever rugby matches to be played at The Memorial Ground.
Best wishes to both clubs are in order and I will see you there!
