Clifton have re-signed center Kieran Kelly following completion of his studies at Exeter University. The ball playing centre had a previous spell at Clifton during the 2016/17 season.
Kelly has spent the past 3 seasons in Exeter's successful BUCS programme, where he has also represented Exeter Chiefs Development side and adds physicality to Clifton's backline as well at the ability to play Fly-Half.
"Kieran has developed into a very accomplished centre since he was last with us, he obviously has spent time in Exeter's programme and you can see how he has grown as a player having trained and played in that environment. He's been exceptional in training over the last couple of months and he's slotted right in. He offers us that point of difference in midfield as well as an option at 10."
Matt Salter, Head Coach
Kelly joins an exciting backline which will be overseen by Bruce Reihana in the coming season. With more signings announced this week, alongside retaining the core of last seasons squad, Clifton will hope to continue their attacking trend that they displayed last season.
