Clifton Rugby looking to expand player pool.

Sam Harrison17 Jun 2018 - 17:42

With the 2018-2019 season fast approaching Clifton Rugby is inviting players to join the senior squads this coming season.

Clifton Rugby senior squads are looking to expand before the 2018-2019 season.

Clifton Rugby has a long history of playing high competitive rugby whilst maintaining a great social environment for players. We are Bristol's oldest rugby club and one of the oldest within the UK. The proud heritage is a pleasure to be a part of and we look to only strengthen this going forward.

We have two senior sides that are on the look out for new players for the forthcoming season and we want you to come and join us and follow in the footsteps of many men who have worn the lavender and black jersey.

The 1st XV compete nationally within National League Two South and have done for many years. The side is highly competitive and places in the squad are well fought for. The 1st XV are now looking to build on from previous years where the squad has developed a strong playing style, team ethos and presence within national rugby. The side has high standards that are driven from the players themselves and have a strong supporting management team. If you have played rugby of a similar standard or believe to have the ability to take your rugby to the next level then we want to here from you.

We also have a strong 2nd XV who finished 2nd within the RFU National Pilot league this year. The side train alongside our 1st XV and movement between the two squads is heavily supported.

Both sides train on a Tuesday and Thursday evening from 7pm - 8.30pm.
