Ladies & Gents,

It is with great sadness that I have to announce that Sandy Mitchell passed away on Friday after a long battle with illness.

His passing will be a huge loss to Clifton RFC, B&DRFC, to LSC and to the local rugby fraternity. Sandy will be very sorely missed by many.

We will send out funeral arrangements when we receive them.

Our thoughts go out especially to Sandy's wife Pat, sons Andy and James and the rest of the family.

Sandy was a great supporter of the club rarely missing a home game and lunch.

He was a Vice President and one of three members appointed as a trustee of the Debenture Loan Scheme.

He was great company to have a pint and chat with.
